In a recent post titled "Tip: Submission of Resources," we explained why we encourage member lawyers to submit resources and gave details about how to do so. Especially as Jurafide.com's membership continues to grow, regular submission of resources will become an important factor in determining a lawyer's ranking and profile visibility on the site. For member lawyers who would like to submit, but feel that they do not have time to spare, Jurafide.com has developed a feature called "Delegate Management."
Accessible from the "My Account" page, Delegate Management allows a member lawyer to designate a "delegate" and thereby authorize that person to submit and manage resources on his or her behalf. In this way, the task of submitting a resource can be assigned to a secretary, legal assistant, or other appropriate member of the firm. If a member lawyer will be participating in a speaking engagement, for example, a delegate can post an announcement as an "Event." Likewise, if a member lawyer regularly publishes a newsletter, a delegate can periodically post a link to the newsletter as an "Article/Alert."
We hope that Delegate Management will become a well-used feature that greatly facilitates member lawyers' efforts to communicate with the international legal community. |
