One of the unique aspects of Jurafide.com is its resource database, which relies almost exclusively on content provided by member lawyers. As the number of member lawyers who are part of the Jurafide.com community continues to grow, we strongly recommend that member lawyers post legal development alerts, case studies, events, and texts of laws to be included in our resource database. Further information regarding each type of resource can be found at http://www.jurafide.com/resource/resource.php. For member lawyers who occasionally write and distribute newsletters and legal development alerts for their firms, the resource submission feature is an easy way to reach a wider audience.
Submission of resources will have the following effect on visibility of member lawyers' profiles at the site:
(1) Improved Search Rank
A member lawyer's search rank in the lawyers directory depends in part on hir or her resource contributions. All else equal, a lawyer with a greater number of resource contributions will have a higher rank than a lawyer with fewer resource contributions.
(2) Notification to Clients
Many member clients subscribe to a notification service that alerts them to resource submissions matching their general legal interests. In our experience, lawyers frequently publish newsletters and legal development alerts without knowing whether such publications are reaching parties with relevant interests. Our notification service allows member lawyers to effectively target their publications to interested parties.
(3) Recommended Resources for Clients
The "My Account" page of member clients provides a list of recommended resources based on their legal interests. If a member lawyer's resources are included in a member client's recommended resource list, the client is more likely to discover the lawyer's profile.
We look forward to receiving resource submissions. If you have any questions regarding resource submissions, we recommend that you first review the Membership FAQ page under "Resource Submissions" (http://www.jurafide.com/membership/membership_faqs.php). Please also feel free to e-mail us any questions at info@jurafide.com. |
